I have a 4KW generator by Generac that is probably 10 years old and works great, except the fuel filter screen was corroded. Couldn't find a dealer that could get the part becuase the unit was so old and then saw this unit during an on-line search. Order it just in case.
Perfect. Same threads and after sealing the threads as I screwed it in it works perfectly. Generator back in full operation and filtering all the small particles out.
The screen is non-removable so unless you have the height in your fuel tank this might not work, but for most larger fuel tanks I think this unit would work just fine as a replacement fuel filter.
