I ordered this replacement part from the MTD parts catalog from my mower. It changed part numbers and didn't think twice about it. When I received the fan it was built different and did not just bolt up like the old one. Off to the hardware store I went to try to find the correct size bolts that I needed to make it work. The old fan had one nut holding it to the top of the pulley, but the new one had three screws holding it onto the face of the pulley. No idea what length or diameter I needed, I now have some extra bolts.
