awesome that I can get parts though amazon saves my time from looking all over the web for a simple gasket or having to go through sears witch is ( expensive! ) because its a part with the sears name on it. and I haven't had any complaints from the guy I fixed the push mower for that blew a plastic cam from a piece of plastic that come from a oil container.it caught in the oil splashier and with some bad luck caught in the cam and... pop ! witch could have been worse funky things happen when a cam is missing a few timing gear teeth

Bought a power washer from Costco with this very same engine. Biggest mistake ever! This ready start auto choke system is pure garbage. It starts OK but then runs choked out for the next 10 minutes. You can literally go through half a tank of gas in 10 minutes as this thing trays to warm up. Why anyone would try to simplify an already simple process of using a Manuel choke is beyond understanding. I have this same sized engine that is a Honda on a wood splitter. This Honda engine has a Manuel choke
It starts right up, I turn the choke off in a few seconds and I can literally run that Honda for close to two hours on the same amount of gas my 875 Briggs coughs on. Y advice, stay away from Briggs and Stratton engines with Ready Start. They are junk.

It's a bit of a design flaw in my opinion but I have seen a lot of these setups on B & S engines and the plastic sleeve that holds it all together is far too easy to break. I have never seen one on as mower that didn't have at least one of the four arms cracked. It will still work fine if two are broken as long as they are on opposite sides. I recommend using graphite lubricant on the slide (no "wet" lubricants that collect dust).
