Bought 2 of these and found them to be well designed and constructed. The round shape (as opposed to the tall Gerry can shape) lend to stability in the back of our SUV. The spring loaded lid is so tight that one cannot smell any gas at all. It does take a little strength to use tha can because of the strong spring lid however. I would not buy the funnel made for this can as it breaks easily in cold weather. No experience with the flash proof baffles inside the can - luckily. They look like they would work.
