Product Feature
- Pack of {3} -- 8" Carbide Tipped Trimmer Brush cutter Blades with 80 Teeth brazed-welded.
- UNIVERSAL FIT -- each blade comes with a "REDUCER WASHER" allowing blades to fit either 1" or 7/8" Arbor Hole sizing with your "Blade Hardware", which is the same as 25.4mm or 20mm in metric.
- Carbide is estimated to last 10x longer than plain steel but does not cost 10x more creating incredible value.
- More teeth means more aggregate cutting surface for longer lasting durability, for the price.
- BLADE HARDWARE: A Blade will not fit onto the Trimmer Axel Shaft by itself like the String Line Dispenser Spool will. So you must acquire "Blade Hardware" that consists typically of two small discs; one has a raised circle on it that the blade hole fits onto, the 2nd small disc is the cap disc, then screw on the Nut and apply a Cotter Pin. Sorry, we DO NOT supply blade hardware.
Product Description
UNIVERSAL FIT: ***NEW Thinner Reducer Washer***. You can measure "Washer" thickness with a Caliper, the Washer is the exact thickness of the blade and will even smash somewhat when firmly tightened. This blade will fit any Trimmer-Brush cutter that takes a 1" = 25.4mm or 7/8" = 20mm arbor. Our blade is built for any RPM even super high RPM Trimmers (10,000+ rpm). Manufactured with a more flexible steel as compared to the much more brittle steel found with table saw blades (table saw blades can shatter if they hit an obstacle, plus they are only built for approx. 3,450 rpm so they should never be used with Gasoline powered Garden Trimmers). The carbide tips are welded-brazed on and will not come off.--- NOTE: sorry, but we have NO answers regarding your particular Trimmer/brush cutter. It is up to you to determine whether: (1) a Blade can even be attached to your Trimmer. (2) what blade attachment hardware is available for your Trimmer such as: fittings, blade guards, or attachments. (3) The arbor size it takes; this is the hole in the middle of the blade, sizes we offer are mentioned above and are the most standard in the industry. (4) The "Renegade Blade" from "Carbidebrushcutterblades" will outperform competitor blades with our Proprietary Carbide. Our 80, 100 & 120 teeth blades offer over twice the aggregate carbide cutting surface when comparing to a 40 tooth blade. More Carbide for the same buck means VALUE and DURABILITY. (5) NOTE: Jagged teeth like on most 40 tooth blades do nothing since at high RPM's, cutting material does not sink into teeth cavities, and less teeth are prone to tearing cuts with lots of seizing in limbs. Try pruning a hedge with a 40 tooth then try ours, you will see what we are saying. The CARBIDE MIX in our teeth is 2nd to none. Just Tungsten is not enough; additives like: Hafnium, Tantalum, Titanium, Molybdenum, Silicone, Zirconium, Boron, Niobium, Chromium, & Vanadium, make for a better Carbide Mix for longer lasting teeth.8" RENEGADE BLADE® - Carbide Bruschcutter Blades 3pk Review
I did some research into bruchcutter blades and none of the regular non-carbide blades were reported to last very long. This blade is about the same price, but carbide, and 80 tooth on top of that. I'm still using the first blade after cutting berry bushes, thick sapling like weeds and even hitting a hidden metal fence post. The fence post took a couple teeth off, but it still has PLENTY of teeth left. I think the seller's claim about the superiority of the high 80 tooth count is correct (the other carbide blade I saw was 36 tooth). It does seem to cut very smooth and the extra teeth allow it to last longer and have some extras to sacrifice to fence posts, etc. The only negative was that the included 20mm adapter I received was thicker than the blade, and prevented the nut on my trimmer head from correctly clamping the blade. I thinned it out in about 5-10 mins with my dremel tool, but I hope they get this corrected. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "8" RENEGADE BLADE® - Carbide Bruschcutter Blades 3pk" are high quality item.
