Delivered with a leaking gas tank. Amazon washes their hands of it once you order so they were useless. Called the manufacturer after several call finally got to the escalation center and they found a local dealer and eventually they picked it up and fixed the gas tank. Received 11/2 picked up for service 11/19 returned 12/8. I proceeded to pick up the accumulated leaves made it thru half the yard and the deck stopped working completely dead. Called again same drill. Hopefully they will go thru it completely this time and fix everything or replace the unit. I believe I got a lemon I can't speak to all Husqvarna products but this one is a POS. Finally buyer beware AMAZON provides no support on these types of products.

Black & Decker GH610 5.5 Amp 14-in GRASSHOG Straight Shaft Electric String Trimmer / Edger (Open Box) Review

Purchased my trimmer/edger GH610 on June 9, 2012 as a replacement for my well used and trusted GH600. Didn't have grass to trim or edge at the time of receipt, but I did run it just to make sure everything worked, which it did.
Finally grass needed edging and the GH610 worked beautifully. All my expectations were met (quiet, smooth, auto feed, etc.). Used up the manufacturer's spool of string and replaced it with a spool from my GH600. Again it worked beautifully, for about 30 seconds. The motor seemed to run a little slower. Stopped it to check for an obstruction, found none. Tried to restart the GH610, nothing. Not a thing happened. It was as if I had lost all power. Had to finish edging with another edger. This was my first real use of the GH610, unfortunately for me, it was also 8 days after the '30 day return' policy. Wrote the company I purchased it from for advice, but no response. I know these are good trimmer/edgers, I just didn't get a good one. Hopefully Black & Decker will work with me on this.
UPDATE: Found the problem! Faulty wire terminal that attaches the 'hot' wire to the motor. Hopefully I can find a similar terminal. Solder doesn't work for some reason.
