I have a Generac 2700psi gas power washer with the detergent siphon. For the siphon to work, it means that you have to plug the detergent hose into the pump. There is no shut off, which means that if you're on a ladder using the soap, and you finish using it, you have to come down from the ladder, physically remove the hose from the pump and then go back up on the ladder to rinse whatever it is that you put soap on.
