For most applications the hose that came with my 3100 PSI Craftsman pressure washer is adequate in length. However, not for washing the roof on our sunporch. Sears doesn't even stock an extension hose, and the replacement must have gold threads in it to explain the price. After wasting a couple hours with Sears Parts, I did get the part number for their unstocked extension. And after doing an internet search with that, I realized it is really this B&S product. There is an extra connector included which allows this hose to be used as either a replacement or an extension. I seem to get different prices depending on how I search, but suffice it to say that I paid 20 bucks less for this than the unstocked same thing from Sears.
