10" x 14" DD Excelerator Search Coil for Garrett ACE 150/250 Review

I picked up on for my Ace 250 from Kellyco. I like the coverage and the resilience to ground mineralization but it has downs sides as well. For one, pinpointing with a DD coil is not as easy as with a concentric coil, it took me a while to figure that out. Also, I don't think the target ID is as accurate either, It always ID's bottle caps as "quarters" when I am beach hunting. This is a shame because the stock ace coils are usually dead on with coins..specifically pennies dimes and quarters.

I would just collect the 4 stock coils for the Ace and be done (Sniper, 6.5x9, 9x12, 8.5x12 DD)

They are manufactured by Garrett specifically for the Ace series and I think they promise better results overall.

This belt has held up longer than any other belt I have used for my Cub Cadet. There seems to be more rubber-like material than fabric built into it which allows it to stretch or "give" more before it can break. The only thing I would change is to buy the next one with a little more width to accomodate the pulleys on my lawn mower.
