Oregon Gator Mulcher 3-N-1 Blade For 38-Inch AYP/Husqvarna/Poulan Pro/Sears/Craftsman Lawn Mowers 95-610 Review

I took of my old bent rusty blades and put the new gator blades on. It did not say which side was up etc, so I went with what someone else said here, and put the tabs up. I don't know if that was wrong, or the blade is dull etc. But it cuts worse then my old bent/rusted blades

It seems to make lots of wind, grass flying everywhere. But doesn't cut well, or mulch well at all. My old blade was bent, rusted, and very very worn. But they still cut better then the new blades

I'll take it off and sharpen it next week, and double check everything else. If something changes, I'll update this feedback. The blade looked fine, seemed made well etc. But the design itself, just doesn't offer anything over the old warn blades

When I was ordering them, I thought wow, why doesn't everyone make their blades this way if its known to work so well. Now I know, its because its not true. These were cheap, for a reason. If you need a cheap blade, these are fine. But if you look at these and think they are something special,,, think again,,, chances are, the stock blades you had were/are better

One thing that does look nice, is the new blades are a little thicker looking, so hopefully they wont get dinged up as bad, as fast, but that remains to be seen. My stock blades were 15 years old. So they had good reason to be so worn. I hope these can last even half that long
