Excellent muffler - works great on my old Montgomery Ward 12T splitter w/ B&S 8HP engine. This muffler has a 1 inch pipe, so I had to add a 1 inch to 3/4 inch reducer on the engine. I used an elbow, which helped move the muffler out of my way.

Note the muffler does not unscrew from the pipe it is mounted on...it's welded in place.

Spindle Assembly for John Deere Repl John Deere AM126225 Review

The spindle arrived on time and was easy to install on the mower deck. In less than 30 minutes we were back mowing...however less than a week later the spindle base cracked and needed to be replaced again. Several additional replacements were needed to get us through the summer.

My mower deck may be bent causing too much torque and vibration on the spindle so we're moving on to a new mower deck.

I'd order a spare just in case.

Woodeze 4-Ton Electric Wood Splitter Review

The logs delivered to the house last year were much too thick for starting a fire in the basement woodstove. I'm not in great shape and splitting them to useful size with an axe was killing me.

So I ordered the Woodeze 4-Ton Electric Wood Splitter on Feb 14th, 2012. It arrived on the 17th. Used it today (Feb 18th).

I love it. Just take it out of the box (it's fully assembled), open the hydraulic air bleed valve, plug it in, and start splitting logs. When you're done, close the bleed valve and put it away. We put ours on a wooden work table to save us from squatting over the machine. Most logs just fall apart to either side of the machine before the end of the stroke. The ram retracts immediately when you let go of the button. It's great for making kindling; just run them through again. There's almost no noise. The sound of the logs splitting was louder than the machine.

I paid $306 total. Shipping included. Well worth it.

I tried a carburetor rebuild kit and it worked for about 10 seconds and then began flooding. Messed with it for an entire day and couldn't get it to 'float' correctly. I gave up and bought this and it worked. It didn't fit 'exactly' but we're talking tiny difference on one side, not anything to fret over.
