I put this zero clearance insert on my Ridgid tablesaw to help eliminate chipout on plywood panels. I saw a tremendous improvement in the quality of cuts over the original plate. The installation instructions were well written, but weren't actually necessary. I would offer two suggestions, however. First, check/perform the blade-miter track parallelism adjustment, as necessary -- prior to cutting the insert. Second, tighten the hold down screw only enough to lightly seat in the counter sunk hole in the front of the insert. If overtightened, the rear of the insert will rise above the height of the saw bed.

This is a cheap plastic unit-worth maybe 30 bucks.

Had to put it together-an easy task.

It is light weight but awkward to use as you must keep your hands on the bars at all times or the unit shuts off-even if you just remove one hand. Would be a lot easier to use if it had an on/off switch. Very difficult to trim anything that is shoulder height-for the short stuff it works ok.

This is a "no buy" on my list because there is no on/off switch and it is cheap plastic.

The battery is great-charges quickly-easy to insert and remove.

Initially I was going to order this product directly from the manufacturer but after speaking with several different sales and customer service reps - the best answer for estimated delivery date was "sometime in the next two months".
Right them I should have known to go with the Black & Decker set!!!
I ordered this 3 piece WORX set through Amazon and had it within a week.
It worked as advertised for about 2 uses.
Then the auto-string-feed on the edger stopped working and had to be done manually. Every time.
Next problem was the batteries keeping a shorter and shorter charge, I followed the manufacturers complete discharge/complete recharge instructions, until I couldn't edge and blow HALF of a .23 acre lot using both batteries.
The last straw was the hedge trimmer completely refusing to power on at all.
THE MANUFACTURER REFUSED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH THE PROBLEMS CLAIMING "YOU BOUGHT IT FROM AMAZON - IT'S THEIR PROBLEM, NOT OURS."
Amazon has sent me a return Authorization and I will NOT be purchasing another WORX item, EVER.
