The paddles were easy to install, they fit perfectly. The material was 2/3 the thickness of the original paddles that I removed from the snowthrower. Thus, I do not think I will get the longevity I had withe the OEM paddles. I still have not used the thrower since I installed the paddles.

I removed the original scraper with the intent of installing the the new scraper included in this bundle. Turns out the scraper is also thinner than the original. I ended up reversing the original (as it is designed) and storing the new one for another day.

I cannot complain as the new parts were much much cheaper than the OEM price quoted from manufacturer. Hopefully, I can get a couple of seasons with this upgrade.

MTD Part 756-04141 PULLEY-IDLER 5" DI Review

Exactly like the original, which lasted 9 years. Bearing failure is what killed the old one. If I were the original designer, I probably would have put two ball bearings in it instead of just one. But then it would last forever. But then, that's just the way I design things.

Installation is a normal mechanic's task. Crawl around on the ground, skin some knuckles, etc.

I replaced all three idlers, and the machine now runs very quiet.
